Queen of Drainage provides personalized, in-home postoperative manual lymphatic drainage services for patients recovering from plastic and reconstructive surgery. Our goal is to support healing, reduce swelling, and provide compassionate care throughout every stage of recovery.
After personally experiencing the challenges of surgical recovery, Jessica Borrell, LMT, MLD-C, CPST, founder of Queen of Drainage, gained a deep appreciation for the physical, emotional, and mental demands that recovery can place on an individual.
That experience reinforced the importance of knowledgeable and compassionate postoperative care, not only to support the body’s recovery, but also to help patients feel confident, informed, and cared for throughout the healing process.
Inspired by that experience, Jessica became a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) before pursuing specialized training through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS). Through ACOLS, she became a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (MLD-C), trained in the Vodder Method, and completed advanced training in the management of post-plastic surgery procedures. She further expanded her specialization by earning the Certified Plastic Surgery Therapist (CPST) credential, strengthening the knowledge and clinical skills required to provide safe, individualized postoperative care.
To further strengthen her clinical experience, Jessica completed clinical observation with a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Miami, Florida, and gained additional hands-on experience alongside an experienced postoperative Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapist. These experiences provided valuable insight into both the surgical and therapeutic aspects of postoperative recovery and reinforced her commitment to informed, patient-centered care.
Today, Queen of Drainage provides personalized, in-home postoperative manual lymphatic drainage services throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to each client’s unique procedure, stage of healing, and recovery goals, because no two surgeries or recoveries are exactly alike.
